Kenny Kim’s Food & Wine Photoventure
April 5-April 10, 2022: Taste of Veneto & Emilia Romagna - The Culinary Paradise
"Problem with the world is that it's not Italy." Phil Rosenthal
I could not agree more. Every time I visit this enchanting land, the anticipating of discovering new things excites me more. As I am returning back home, I am already longing for my next visit back. I am addicted to their way of life. Their food & wine. The passion and preparation that goes into everything that they do. They boast to make the best products in the world and they really do. There’s nothing quite like it. On this next PhotoVenture, we will get a glimpse of this truth. We will explore two neighboring regions: Veneto and Emilia-Romagna. The preparation for this trip has been in the making for the past four years and we have designed it so that you will enjoy all the delightful treasure these two regions have to offer in an authentic way that a typical travel tours will not. We will dive deep and attempt understand what makes these two regions such a gem. So roll up your sleeves and get ready to jump in with me for this unforgettable experience during this 5 night 6 day PhotoVenture Italy Tour.
Food & Photoventure tour has evolved over the years (since 2009) and is now designed for anyone that have passion for photography, food, wine & new cultural experiences. Photography is obviously an icing on the cake as you will have Kenny Kim along side you not only to document the experience but to teach you more about photography all while touring the beauty that is Italy. So if you love travel, food, wine and photography, consider joining our small group and get the most out of Italy together.
Here is a quote by famous chef Julia Child (she was talking about her favorite travel companion, her husband Paul) that perfectly describes what PhotoVenture is all about :
"When one follows the artist's eye, one sees unexpected treasures
in so many seemingly ordinary scenes. I have always been going with
Paul [Insert Kenny] because I saw more than I had on my own.
He was interested in every aspect [of Italy], and taught me to
appreciate things that I would have otherwise just skimmed over or missed .”

“Last April, Jon and I were able to join Kenny Kim on his food and photo venture tour of the Umbria region in Italy. Kenny was also our wedding photographer and his gift with storytelling in photos translated into a personal story of Italy. Every place we visited was unique and authentic, nothing was ever "touristy", the people we met were generous and cared so much about the food they produced and cooked. I still think about all the carbonara, tiramisu, and gelato I ate, but most importantly, the friends I made.” - Sarah Y.
